I find painting a great way to relax and escape daily stresses. I enjoy the challenge of bringing the image to life through colour and texture. Overall, painting makes me happy and I try to inject the personalty of the animal into the art. When I'm working on a wildlife piece it is important that I have a bond with the animal I'm painting and it usually leads me to choosing unique animals that aren't often seen or are overlooked for their value as it relates to art.
