On the city street, there is a meat,
Wrapped in a bun of enriched white wheat.
Unfinished bites land on the sidewalk below,
Discard like trash but little do they know.
An undiscerning bird far removed from it's fare,
Gobbles up those bites for which no one did care.
Void of grains and nutrients it needed so dear,
The meat plumped it up, tremendously I fear.
Too fat to fly, a great weight upon it's feet,
I ask you my friend, don't eat street meat.
"Don't Eat Street Meat" is an original acrylic painting made by me. I painted it on a gallery width canvas which is 1.5" thick and requires no framing but can be framed if you choose. The image itself is 16"x16" of gluttony perched on delicious tubed meat in a bun.
