A nautilus shell is a logarithmic spiral, also known as an equiangular spiral or Bernoulli spiral. I'm no geometry wiz but I do enjoy a good design when I see one.
"Nautilus" is an original acrylic painting made by me. I painted it on a gallery width canvas which is 1.5" thick and requires no framing but can be framed if you choose. The image itself is 12"x16" and will likely be around linger than you will.
