Evolution
This painting represents the evolution of Garfield but also the revolution of me. Garfield started out as a slightly crude drawing but over a few years was refined to the style any 80's kid fondly remembers. The last is the current rendition of Garfield that has been with us for the last 30 years. My evolution within the paintings start with the first Garfield and the simple colouring within the lines. The second shows the progression of learning shading and the last is my current fluffy, detailed style. In many ways, me and Garfield grew up together.
"Evolution is an original acrylic painting made by me. I painted it on a gallery width canvas which is 1.5" thick and requires no framing but can be framed if you choose. The image itself is 12"x36" , 48 years in the making.
